Curator’s Notes

This petite blossom bowl is one of the most precious pieces we’ve received from Masanobu Ando. With a shape reminiscent of a bulbous buttercup, the ceramic dish rounds in at the bottom to rest upon three tiny feet. The floral bowl is sized to fit snugly in the palm of your hand, and it has a matte finish that provides the perfect backdrop for sweets to have with tea.
