Curator’s Notes
I’ve recently converted to matcha and drink a cup almost daily. After experimenting with different methods of making it, I realized that the one tool you need more than anything is a good whisk. Bamboo tea whisks are the traditional tool used to whip up a cup of hot powdered matcha and is what will help get that extra froth and smooth texture. It still mesmerizes me how the prongs of this whisk are split from a single piece of bamboo and yet each prong retains its strength. Pairs well with the Bamboo Tea Bowl.
