Curator’s Notes
I like how a bowl of this form and depth lends itself to a material like ceramic but defies expectations in forged stainless steel. The finish is left visually coarse but buffed for a smooth touch. Highlights and irregularities caught on the surface are due to the hammering process and the rates of metal cooling between each firing.
