Description
I am a pair of Cedar Pentagon Chopsticks. Five sides, one purpose – to never slip from your hand.
Curator’s Notes
We have so many pairs of chopsticks in our utensil drawer, but lately I always reach for my new favorite, these cedar pentagon chopsticks. At first glance, they look simple, but once you hold them, you notice how the five soft, smooth sides naturally fit between your fingers and how lightweight they are. Made from cedar by artisans in Kiso, the five planes feel like they were carved super intentionally to slip perfectly between your fingers. And that’s why these chopsticks are reached for almost at every meal.
