I am a Kodomo Wood Spoon. There’s nothing quite like swimming in a pool of delicious dessert so when I see a bowl of ice cream, I dive headfirst!

Curator’s Notes

Perfect as a dessert spoon or as baby’s first spoon! This wooden spoon is handcrafted from trees of the Hokkaido region in Japan. The gentle curves of the handle combined with a smooth finish make this a great spoon for daily use. Designer Hiroyuki Inoue specializes in the research and production of objects for children and this is clearly a stand out piece from his wide-ranging collection.
