Curator’s Notes

This brush is so beautifully designed that I can’t wait to use it to show it off. Made of sturdy yet flexible palm fibres, this brush helps remove spent tea leaves that accumulate in the strainer and spout of a teapot. The brass cover helps the brush keep its shape and the silk tag can be hung easily within reach. The elegance of its materials and construction make it a piece that you’d be happy to take out when serving afternoon tea.
