We are Tutu, a series of Tall Red Canisters. I don’t mind carrying the load. I’m always up for a good time!

Curator’s Notes

Hatashikki and Mute Studio combine forces to create a colorful series of containers that emanate traditional Japanese craft techniques and modern design. The straightforward shapes and charming colors lend well to the natural grain of castor aralia wood that is faintly visible through the lacquered exteriors of each container. The tall red canisters feature a food safe urethane coating making them suitable for food storage. They’re also great for holding loose-leaf tea or to organize small household objects.
