Description
I am a Temari Cast Iron Case. I’m a hiding place, a little cache. Your secret’s safe with me.
Curator’s Notes
Although this series of solid iron boxes are meant to be used as ashtrays, they can really be beautiful multi-purpose boxes for all sorts of things, for example, jewelry or precious items, or simply as decorative objects. Each one is handmade and has a very distinctive texture and unique patterns etched onto the surface of the lid. We love the rust colored tones of these Simplicity wares as they the pieces appear to be very old like antique treasures.
