Description
I am Anagama No. 34 Ochre Cup. A little rustic, a little unpredictable—like I’ve been through centuries and back. Warm, earthy, and full of ash-kissed imperfections.
Curator’s Notes
We love this cup for its rustic, antique quality. The earthy ochre color has such a warmth to it, giving the piece a unique character that feels grounded in nature. The texture is unpredictable, with ash deposits from the anagama kiln creating beautiful irregularities that make each cup one-of-a-kind. Whether used as a teacup or a sake cup, it feels like you’re holding something that could have been unearthed from centuries ago. There’s something truly special about how these cups bring together history, craft, and nature in such an organic way.
