Curator’s Notes

While teacups are often shaped to fit and cup in our hands, we love how Keisuke Iwata’s teapot feels like it can be cupped in the same way. The ceramic teapot’s round shape and warm texture is formed by hand, which lends a rustic charm to a tea setting. The large, chunky handle is comfortable to hold, and the angle of the chunky spout ensures a steady stream with not a drop lost when poured.
