Description
I am a Chrysanthemum Teapot. Don’t think that because I don’t have a handle on it, I’m hot and bothered. In fact, I’ll keep things clear minded if the temperature’s just right.
Curator’s Notes
This is a hohin style teapot designed without handle so it is ideal for teas that need to be steeped in lower temperature water such as gyokuro tea. The traditional spout for this style teapot has ridges that catch tea leaves between the lid as it elegantly pours from out the spout leaving behind no drips.
