Curator’s Notes

After many tea and coffee breaks each workday, my mug becomes more than just a vessel; it’s an intimate friend. This hand-formed mug by Masanobu Ando is truly unique. A pinched side forms a droplet when viewed from above, and the notched ring handle hugs your fingers as you hold it. Drink from the spouted point while the vessel emanates warmth, inviting comfort and contentment.
