Curator’s Notes

This is such a great figurine as are all the characters Yuki Nishio creates. Their playful compositions remind me of the cats in Japanese literature like the books by Haruki Murakami. A small pop of colour on the figure’s pants bring so much joy! If you’re feeling red pants, this one’s your girl!
