Hemp Tea Mat

Description

I am a Hemp Tea Mat. Some may think I’m a bit rough around the edges but set me up with a teacup and I’ll soften up.

Curator’s Notes

The tea mat is slightly more narrow than the standard placemat for a dinner table. The size of the rectangle is perfect for a tea setting for one or to serve tea with sweets for guests. The natural raw edges, slubby texture and stiffness of this particular mat gives it a rustic quality that we love. The way it will wear over time brings it a warmth befitting of tea rituals intended to compel all senses, including touch.
