Hinoki Soap Dish

Description

I am a Hinoki Soap Dish. I know what you’re thinking. I don’t belong here. But think of it this way – I’m naturally mildew resistant and have a beautiful scent, so, maybe I belong in the bathroom just as much as that other guy.

Curator’s Notes

Hinoki wood has a natural resin content, which makes it mold and mildew resistant and the ideal species of wood for the production of bathroom products. This soap dish has rubber inserts that slightly raise the wood tray and facilitate water drainage through its slats.
