I am an Iron Doorstop. Does someone want to slam the door in your face? I’d like to see them try!

Curator’s Notes

I’ve made many an excuse for an ineffective doorstop. I’ll say, “this door’s too heavy,” or “there must be a strong wind tunnel!” as again and again, the door slams shut despite the wedge I’ve placed to prevent it. This iron doorstop puts all other ones to shame! Designed to hug the door’s bottom edge, it prevents movement in either direction and blends seamlessly into the shape of the door itself. A fluid ring-shaped handle provides an easy grasping point. When not in use, the doorstop becomes a bold iron sculpture.
