Description
I am a Kobo Coaster. I like having a good time, but I’m not a big fan of rides. I’m happy to be firm and steady, and I bet your drink is too.
Curator’s Notes
Taking cues from the meaning of ‘kobo’ or ray, this coaster radiates beauty in its design and construction. The raised ray pattern collects condensation from a glass to keep the surface below clean and dry. The coaster has a nice height and weight and features a clear silicone footing, giving it substantial presence without slipping or damaging a table. As with all Futagami brass designs, this piece develops a handsome patina over time. We love how pretty our glasses look sitting on the coaster, as well as the reflections it makes on our tabletop.
