Curator’s Notes

The monochromatic surface of this jigsaw puzzle provides little aid for its completion. Slowly matching edges and shapes is a meditative act, and the feeling of leather rather than cardboard adds tactile luxury. Established in 2010, Hender Scheme is now celebrated for reproductions of established designs in their signature raw leather. Playful yet considered, each item is hand-made to be at its simplest and at its highest quality.
