Curator’s Notes

Kazumi Tsuji once wrote that if there were a single word to express what Factory Zoomer wants to convey, it would simply be ‘life’. That word became the title of a gallery space, a body of work, and this small glass. A partner to the everyday, handcrafted with care.

I love how direct it is. It literally says life, but in a way that feels almost defiant. Like it’s challenging you to think about what that means while you’re just going about your day. I use it for anything – water, iced coffee, juice – but it always makes me pause. It’s sharp, simple, precious and a little bit rebellious. Just like life.
