Description
I am Shippou Cloisonné Scissors. If you tilt your head I look like a bird but unlike my source of inspiration, I’m not flighty one bit. I’m steady in the hand and rather precise.
Curator’s Notes
Inspired by the shape of a swallow bird – these scissors are tools for cutting silver wire used in the making of cloisonné wares. Created small for users to comfortably hold in one hand. Can be used for work that requires precise cutting such as jewelry making and embroidering.
