Description
I am a Shiraki Bento Box. Tick tock, tick tock… aaand lunch break!
Curator’s Notes
For these bento boxes, the lacquerware masters, Wajima Kirimoto, chooses to utilize Japanese Cypress Thujopsis wood for it’s smooth, even grain, anti-microbial properties and water resistance – highly suitable for lunch boxes. These boxes have a removable divider also made of wood and are known for their lacquer that incorporates diatomaceous earth into it’s base layer and top coat making them extremely durable and water resistant.
