Curator’s Notes

The hunt for a small switch plate has proven to be a difficult task, until we discovered the unique geometric styles offered in the MATUREWARE collection. We especially like the idea of a smaller sized switch plate for a look that’s a bit subtler. In addition to their small size, we also like how you can match the geometric shapes with different design elements in a space. A room with more curvilinear or rectilinear details calls for fixtures with similar qualities and the circle, square and hexagon switch plates are the perfect options.

• The switch plates can be customized to showcase a debossed room name for an additional fee. Custom words can be created. List of pre-existing room names include: LIVING, DINING, KITCHEN, PORCH, TOILET, STAIRS, HALL, ROOM, ROOM.1, ROOM.2, ROOM.3, ROOM.4

• Each switch plate is outfitted with a brass toggle
• Standard order includes plate, 3-way power toggle switch, knob cover, nut cover, and brass screws
• Embedded switch box and the crimp terminal are not included
• The Circle, Hexagon and Square Switch Plates require non-standard sized electrical boxes. These can be sourced through online retailers or electrical supply stores, as standard boxes from big-box retailers may not be compatible
• Installation must be done by a licensed electrician. Please contact a local professional.
