Description
I am a pair of Children’s Tagaya Chopsticks. Just stick with it. What may seem hard now will one day be your warm up.
Curator’s Notes
Although a pair of chopsticks appears to be the simplest utensil, we think it’s one of the most sophisticated designs in human history. Its weight and length fits easily in one’s hand to allow for agile movements on a plate or in a pan, and its very minimal construction lends to a variety of finishes and shapes. We kept our line of chopsticks simple to highlight the warm tone and texture of the wood they were made from. The chunkier, rounded shaft feels comfortable between our fingers and tapers to an end that feels substantial yet still precise.
This 8″ length is ideal for older children, children in their teens or people with smaller hands. We have also designed a size suitable for adults, found here.
