Description

I am a Tetu Cast Iron Kyusu Teapot. Here is my handle, here is my spout. I’m here to show you what tea’s all about.

Curator’s Notes

The name of this piece is Kyusu, which traditionally means teapot, and often the word refers to one with a side handle. This one’s a bit confusing because it has a handle on top (still technically a kyusu) and it has a contemporary shape that makes it look like a kettle. Semantics aside, we love it! You can use it to brew loose leaf tea as it cleverly includes a stainless steel strainer.
