Description
I am Vintage Sencha Tea ’11. I come from an extraordinary harvest from Asamiya in 2011. Much like fine wine, I’ve been aged to perfection, and now taste like heaven.
Curator’s Notes
If you have really good tea from healthy tea plants, you can let the tea leaves ripe like a red wine. That’s what occured with an extraordinary yabukita variety green tea leaf that was harvested in the Spring of 2011. It has a well-balanced combination of deep colour, umami and astringency. The tea leaves originate from a farm that uses only organic fertilizer.
