Curator’s Notes

This side entry waste basket is slightly larger in scale compared to the other Saito baskets making it perfect for commercial spaces – restaurant restrooms, building lobbies, or shared offices. A removable lid makes cleanup efficient.

Trash containers are often hidden or an after-thought, kept far away from public sight. We like the idea that a frequently neglected household item can also be beautiful and worthy of display.
