Curator’s Notes

The letter “s” has to be one of the hardest working elements of the alphabet; it can hold up so much more than plurals. Takayoshi Narita’s wrought-iron hook highlights the simple beauty of its shape and practical possibilities. The hook is carefully crafted by hand to create a rich, well-worn texture, and It features a bigger loop on one end to hang and hold items straighter. Although it is ideal for hanging one of Narita-san’s cooking pans, the hook pairs beautifully with any tool at home to keep them easily within hand’s reach.
