Curator’s Notes

This beautiful ceramic bowl is a feast for the eyes as much as the dish it contains. Its unique, floral shape refers to the fruit of sansho pepper corns, paying homage to spices that add so much flavour and excitement to food. The bowl is finished with a rich red glaze that adds a pop of color to a table setting. With its unique shape and open petals, we love using it to serve appetizers or pickled salads that accompany our meals.
